Kirk Cousins muses on RG3's recovery, nice guy Alfred Morris and ... Chipotle?

1. I think I love football way too much. When I get time off to relax, all I want to do is throw a football with someone.

2. I think my mom and my girlfriend would agree that helping me gain weight for football could be considered a full-time job.

3. I think I spend more time in airports than at actual destinations. I am seemingly delayed every time I fly commercial airlines.

4. I think the beaches of Lake Michigan are some of the best-kept secrets when it comes to vacation spots.

5. I think RG3, like Adrian Peterson, is going to come back stronger than before. The guy works as hard as anyone I’ve ever been around.

6. I think I could eat Chipotle every day of the week.

7. I think my listening skills decrease 200% when an iPhone is in my hand.

8. I think Alfred Morris is the nicest person in the NFL, and one of the most talented running backs.

9. I think everyone should read my newly released book Game Changer: Faith, Football & Finding your Way. (Just a shameless plug, sorry.)

10. I think the world would be a much better place if everyone took God a little more seriously and took themselves a little less seriously.

Since you've stopped using the "R" word, why not stop using the "P" word since our government now thinks the founding fathers were terrorists?  The Patriots team name shows a lack of "PC" just as much as "The Washington football team".  What a load of total crap, use the right damn name!!!

I totally agree with #8. Everything I have read about Alfred Morris buttresses his good guy status.

Nice list by KC. With regards to #10 tho, the world would be better if EVERYONE just treated others with respect. Sadly, religion has been/is the root of many evils, wars, etc. Whether you believe in god or not, just contribute to a positive society by being a good person.

@Jnash23 While I get your point about religion, I think most religion do put an emphasis on our treatment of others...especially our treatment of the less fortunate. Alas, extremists have hijacked religion far too often. But the same can be said of democracy. Sure it's the best form of govt but if you look at what's going on in some of our state legislature, you'll be hard pressed to say democracy is a good thing. My point is extremists ruin everything: religion, sports, health food, everything.

@tundey @Jnash23 I get what you are saying too. I was just really was getting at the fact that you do not have to believe in god to help make the world a better place. Plenty of the worst people in the world are god believers who you see in your local church, temple, mosque every week.....the actions you take and way YOU personally decide to live your life is only up to you.

@Jnash23 @tundey Of course you don't have to believe in God to make the world a better place. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Number 10 on this list is truly number 1 in Kirk's heart, and not only does he preach it, he lives it. He may not be a superstar, but I hope that my boys grow up to be men of character like Kirk Cousins.

@mannyfagut @lathrop620 You act as if he accosted you on the street and forced you to read his list. BTW, he wrote it just like you wrote your comment on this page. Should I say "keep your fucking comment to your fucking self"?

@mannyfagut @tundey @lathrop620 Men, not religion, create evil. Religion is nothing but a belief. It's the acts men do in the name of those beliefs that cause all the harm. Rest assured, even without religion, humans would still do evil onto the everything around them.

@mannyfagut @tundey @lathrop620 Am not going to argue about religion on a sports site. But from your strong reaction, you might want to ponder on why you have such a visceral reaction to someone else's faith.

@tundey @mannyfagut @lathrop620 Kirk is a young guy. By the time he reaches thirty years old, he might pick up a history book, and see the evil that religion has caused in this world, and might pick up a science book, and see that the God of the Old Testament isn't real.

I hope so, because he is to nice of a guy to buy into these myths.

@tundey @mannyfagut @lathrop620 now that you mention it, i do feel accosted.  no one asked him a question about it.  no one asked him to bring it up.  he volunteered it and i prefer not to have that garbage shoved down my throat by all these dumb jocks who can't think for themselves and need either a lawyer, an agent, a PR person or a fake book to speak for them.  know why?  because it's not a different point of view, it's a WRONG point of view.  religion is concocted of lies so that people like this guy and other whack jobs can use it to suit their own purposes and push a narrow, rigid, racist, sexist, violent agenda.

@tundey @mannyfagut @lathrop620 Can you believe he eats at Chipotle? How dare he tell me what to eat! Do you have any idea how many fat people Chipotle creates? Keep it to his fucking self.

@tundey @mannyfagut @lathrop620 He was given this platform and he gave his thoughts. I'm not religious in the slightest but its not like he diluted this piece with faith, 1/10 is fair. I would rather hear about KC faith any day of the week than mannyfaguts narrow-mindedness. Back to football, I hope KC does well but not well enough that he leaves the Skins, dont think he is starter material, great back up QB.
